The Catalysis Commission
| was established
at the 7th International Zeolite Conference in Tokyo in 1986 |
|||
| to establish procedures that will allow model reactions catalyzed
by zeolites or related porous materials to be defined clearly, so that |
|||
| the performance and data treatment aspects
of zeolite catalysis can be standardized, and |
|||
| publication guidelines can be formulated | |||
To do this |
|
| the same zeolitic material (same
batch) is subjected to the agreed-upon reaction under exactly the same
conditions by the laboratories of all Commission members. |
|
| This procedure requires that the test conditions, including the purification of the reactants and details of the equipment, be described unambiguously. | |
